I am thank-full of the gratitude I feel inside, thank-full of the love that abounds, thank-full of the light that surrounds us, and thank-full for having you be a meaningful part of my personal and professional life, and journey. It’s been an honor to serve and share my knowledge, experience and healing gifts with you on your path toward well-being and enlightenment.
The spirit of Thanksgiving is about being thankful, grateful and giving back. Be grateful you have family and friends to gather with, as some people have no one to celebrate the holidays. Do you know of someone who will be alone for the holidays? Have you considered calling this person or inviting her or him to be with you during this holiday weekend even if it’s not on Thanksgiving Day itself? Leftovers are just as yummy.
What can you do to contribute to someone else’s happiness or help those less fortunate? For me, I am contributing my love and energy volunteering with the Straghn Foundation, and serving Thanksgiving dinner to thousands of people in need at Pompey Park in Delray Beach. I’m excited to help and get to know the children, women and men who will be there. I love Delray.
Sometimes, holiday gatherings can be stressful. As you gather with family members and friends remember to Practice patience, understanding and acceptance. Refrain from participating in family tension or drama by observing the situation with detachment and without judgment.
Tune into all the positive interactions that are happening right then and there. Fill up with loving kindness and your energy will stay in balance and influence the energy around you.
May you have a blessed Thanksgiving!
